Welcome to the HomeForce blog!

Hi, I'm Reggie Walker and the goal of this new blog is to provide you with timely, relevant news and information designed to help you create the working model of the future. I have predicted that - with the changes in technology and the economy - the work of the future belongs to the home-force - not the traditional workforce.

Whether you work at home or continue to work 'off-site' at a business location - your work, your career, your life's work - will be driven by you and directed from your home in the future. This will include your employment, your education, your community and patriotic service, and, of course, much of your shopping, entertainment, etc. ALL will soon be home-based.

This change from the traditional societal and economic model will require a bold new vision, a new personal and family mindset, and new skill sets to successfully navigate your way to your successful future and to achieving your personal and family potential.

One recent example of the need for a new approach is Bill Gates statement at the American Enterprise Institute, reported by The Blaze, that software substitution (automation) "...over time will reduce demand for jobs, particularly at the lower end of skill set. … 20 years from now, labor demand for lots of skill sets will be substantially lower. I don’t think people have that in their mental model.”

He emphasized that most of us don't realize how quickly it will happen and how dramatic it will be. I agree with him on this point and believe that Americans will have to provide the solution to address the problem - whereas, in the past, business, education and the government would take the lead and retool for the changes. We'll partner with these institutions, but the new world we now find ourselves in will require us to determine how to build for the future and keep America strong. It is for this purpose that I have created the HomeForce model.

I am a public speaker, author and what I call a home-based futurist. My goal is to help you, your family and friends make the successful transition from the workforce to your very own HomeForce. In doing so, I'll work with you to help you realize the amazing strength, clarity, power and potential of  truly becoming the master of your own fate - with a very simple and practical approach.

You will learn to develop your own powerful intelligence - and learn to thrive in a world full of other highly creative, highly intelligent individuals and groups. I believe our success and the future success of our great nation depends upon creating an effective new strategy that utilizes the burgeoning opportunities of mass collaboration and a new massive connectedness from social media while maintaining the health, vitality and freedom of every home: each individual and their family.

Perhaps the best model I can give for this new concept, is to consider the human body as our society and the organs as businesses and institutions, with the systems of the body being similar to the economic, social and political systems and infrastructure of our great nation. With this model in mind, the idea of HomeForce is to help make and keep every cell of the body - each cell representing a home and family - healthy, strong and fully functional. If we can achieve this, the whole body will remain vital and strong.

The key distinction to this approach is that the driver of the new system is the home, not business and not government. - but the home (and every working adult) as the nucleus - working with business, government and society.
